Wallets and transactions

The wallet is self-custody: you are responsible for recovery words, keys, wallet files, backups, passwords, addresses, fees, and device security. Project contributors cannot recover a lost wallet, password, or recovery phrase, and cannot reverse a payment.

Confirmed blockchain transactions are irreversible. Check the network, address, amount, and fee before sending. Never share a private key, seed phrase, wallet file, Discord token, or remote access session.

Mining

Mining is probabilistic. Hashrate, difficulty, competition, uptime, hardware, electricity cost, pool operation, and network conditions affect results. A calculator or estimate does not promise blocks, coins, revenue, or profit.

The official PPLNS service has a 0% operator fee and constructs direct coinbase payouts from accepted difficulty-weighted shares. A share receipt is not a guaranteed coin payment. A valid block must be found, remain on the main chain, and reach normal coinbase maturity. Service interruption, stale work, reorganization, rounding, and the rolling window affect when and how much an address receives.

Community pools and mining software not published by this repository are third-party services. Check their operators, binaries, fees, and payout rules yourself.

Trades and escrow

The Discord bot escrows only 09C. Fiat, stablecoins, BTC, ETH, and any other payment move directly between the traders outside the escrow. The bot cannot verify or recover that outside payment.

Only use the fresh deposit address shown for the specific order. Check the order, counterparty, amount, payment network, and proof yourself. Public records are references supplied by users, not endorsements or guaranteed evidence.

Nothing on the website, explorer, bot, repository, or community channels is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. It is not financial, legal, or tax advice. There is no guaranteed listing, liquidity, price, demand, return, or profit.

Availability and liability

The software is provided under the MIT License. The network and public services may change, fail, lose connectivity, contain defects, or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, they are provided without warranties and you accept the risk of using them.

You must follow applicable law and must not use the services to attack systems, deceive people, publish unlawful material, evade sanctions, launder funds, or interfere with other users.

Independent services

Discord, GitHub, Cloudflare, DigitalOcean, exchanges, community pools, third-party wallets, and sites reached by links are independent third-party services. Their operators, terms, fees, availability, and security are outside Bitcoin 09's control.

These terms may be updated as the software and public services change. The date above identifies the current version. For a security issue, use a private GitHub advisory. For general project discussion, use the public repository or Discord.
